Today, some modern technologies can come in handy not only for students but also for teachers who want to use some tools for teaching. Multimedia technology is a broad concept and used in the medical, entertainment, education industry and many more infinite fields. This technology is obviously easy to use, and gets more interaction than textbooks. It gives effective teaching while providing sight and sound simultaneously. Most studies have found that a large percentage of the human brain is utilized for visual processing and humans remember images easily in a short time.

We know that teacher’s experience, computers, interactive white boards, student feedback, and student data analysis are effects to actively engage in lessons. But In this article, we will explore how multimedia technology affects student's performance.

To reach an effective teaching it is important to explore this kind of topic. Multimedia technology facilitates teaching easily. But we should explore how this technology affects students’ learning. Most research was carried out relating to this. The common approach is using a control group and an experimental group. Some students have taught by using multimedia technology(experimental group) meanwhile others have taught in a traditional way(control group). Both groups of students are subjected to a pre-test and post-test for the same subject/ subjects which are used for the experiment. In the conclusion, there is no significant difference in pre-test marks between the control group and the experimental group, but there is a significant difference in post-test marks between the two groups. Some studies have found that high-scoring students have no significant effect on the use of multimedia technology while low-scoring students have a significant effect after using multimedia technology.
